Stay on Top of Certificate Expiry: Setting Up Notifications

Flexible Notifications for Users and Contacts

With the notification system in MTG CLM, you can stay informed about relevant certificate events. In this video, we show you how to set up and manage subscriptions for realms and individual policies, as well as for additional users and contacts.

Realm and Policy Subscriptions

Subscriptions can be configured on realm or policy level, depending on the required scope.

A realm subscription covers certificate events for all certificates issued through policies within the selected realm. A policy subscription, on the other hand, limits notifications to certificates issued through a specific policy.

Existing subscriptions can be viewed and edited at any time. Users can also configure their preferred notification channels.

Add Additional Recipients

With the appropriate administrative permissions, subscriptions can also be set up for other internal system users.

In addition, Contacts define external notification recipients beyond internal system users. MTG CLM distinguishes between Realm Contacts, which can be used within their assigned realm, and Global Contacts, which are available system-wide for realms and policies.
